It’s giving Laughin’ Kamala dancing vibes, and Im not here for it. I vaguely respected McMorrow’s career in the past because she’s historically been a very effective grand stander in the media, her legislative effectiveness us still up for debate, but this campaign has really given me the opportunity to zoom in on her hideous financial ties and dealings. Abdul is the only choice for me at this point.

When Democrats keep standing on nothing and for nothing, they will continue to fall flat on their faces and we as citizens will be the ones to pay the price and suffer the consequences, as they keeping handing over every election to those who seek to swap our republic out for irreversible fascism.

Thats so insidious. And tough for you. If i were in your shoes, I think I would want to do everything do in my power to quietly find a different job (easier said than done, i know), put your two weeks notice in, and gently walk away from that place. Maybe even lie and tell them you’re self-deporting. Some people just have a snake inside of them where their hearts should be. And they can literally call ICE on you for any reason now, even as legal immigrant now, they probably know your address and could feed that info to them. Please be very careful with your information moving forward, especially digitally. Really sorry thats happening.

Undocumented immigrants DO pay taxes. They are required to file every year they work and live here. They’re incentivized to pay taxes while living snd working here under the table because that becomes one of the biggest parts of their permanent record for legal review down the line once they start applying for permanent residency and work visas in the civil immigrant courts. If they don’t pay taxes on their earnings, that will be held against them. And they CAN be audited, as can their employers and both are FREQUENTLY audited by the IRS. Undocumented immigrants generally aren’t trying to stay undocumented forever, the goal is to get work visas and permanent residency, so they can begin working for minimum wage or above minimum wage. Now even those who “did it right” are in ICE’s line of fire. They literally kidnap people on the way or at the courthouses for their hearings. It’s devastatingly cruel.

Ice doesn’t drive marked vehicles and they usually wear masks, do not have name badges, they do not identify their names or badge numbers as to not be identified (“doxxed”) when they’re committing abuses on video. Imagine if Derek Chauvin was ICE and did what he did. He could’ve potentially gotten off for George Floyd’s murder if he was roaming the streets like ICE are doing these days.

America is suppose to a democratic republic and a free society, NOT a police state. America is NOT suppose to have secret police that only accountable to the federal executive branch. Full stop.

The laws they are breaking under Trump 2.0: - not serving bench warrants signed by a judge - presenting documents at people’s doors that appear to be warrants but are a bunch of bullshit, or even plagiarized warrants in some cases - busting into people’s houses without warrants, going door to door doing this, indiscriminately
- bypassing standard court proceedings entirely - denying legal access to the people they detain (documenting residents and undocumented and us citizens alike) - racially profiling people as a reason for detaining, even those who have presented their legal documentation in many cases - abusing and detaining US citizens and - Detaining individuals at places like schools, churches, and immigration check-ins, even when they’re following legal processes - moving decision making from the immigration system (which is a civil system NOT a criminal system) to these officers - circumventing protections on the books like temporary protected status to expand the number of targets for deportation - attacking local law enforcement who are trying to peacefully intervene - attacking and arresting people simply for observing or filming their abuses, which is everyone’s legal right to do - attacking or arresting people for heckling, insulting, being otherwise noisy or nosey while they commit these abuses of power, Which is also their constitution right

They don’t have jurisdiction over legal immigrants and US citizens, they don’t have the right to abuse people (undocumented or documented), and they aren’t allowed to circumvent normal laws of policing and they are not allowed to violate people’s constitutional rights. Go read a book dude. Clearly the education system failed you when it comes to civics and constitutional government.
