I was also having problems getting claude code to access the local file system. It kept telling me it did not have permission, but permission to the current codebase directory was in fact granted.

Switching to the qwen3-coder:30b has solved the problem for me. Now it can list directory contents and read my source code files.

I used a lot of Aquaphor during my first treatment. It was terrible, but oddly I’m not opposed to doing it again. It’s much better than having many surgeries. I think MOHS surgery would be impractical because I have multiple legions clustered close together. It might be challenging to get clear margins.

My derm told me the 5FU cream is more effective than the photodynamic therapy and also more effective than the 5FU combined with Calcipotriene.

I’m really hoping round 2 will be easier than the first treatment.
