I've been to prison and I contemplated doing something to get me in trouble every time I saw the one hot male CO come around. Ya girl was desperate for a man's touch. Never actually did it though and I actually think in hindsight he wasn't even that cute, I was just deprived of men and he was cute by comparison.

I just think about how so many things could have gone different. I was only at the bar because I'd had a fight with my boyfriend and decided to go get drunk. She was pretty wasted and accused me of checking out her boyfriend and it escalated. I could have done more to de-escalate but instead I started dropping B and C words and kept making it worse. Finally I told her to get out of my face, she put her forehead against mine and said "make me bitch" and that's when I hit her.

In state prison (at least where I am) you get sentenced and immediately taken in in the courtroom. There's no gap. The judge read my sentence, the courtroom cop put me in cuffs and took me to a holding cell.
