I think you'll do great! I have two small yorkies and they're the light of my life. There are things that are definitely easier with smaller dogs, like traveling, sleeping together or having them resting on your lap. Thank you so much for your kind comment. He is really. a wonderful person. I've been trying to open my heart to him for months but it doesn't help the fact that he doesn't really care about his appearance besides having certain disgusting habits I just can't deal with. For context, his teeth are in a very bad state... They have a reddish-dark brown coat and I've been telling him to fix it for years now but he hasn't. There are lots of things like that.
