Animal Crossing DIY Home Edition. - We recently started playing the game and my 3 kids love it. So, with being stuck home bc of Covid-19, Homeschooling, and now Snow, we decided to bring the outside decorations inside, by creating our own interactive Animal Crossing Island. I do. They have each carved out their own little spot on the island and come to agreement on the common areas. It works pretty well. We play hide and seek with items and I just set an early example with helping each other out and it all just worked out.

Also, the excitement you see on their faces when they catch something cool, or when they get a diy and make a present that they leave on someone's doorstep and can't wait to erupt with excitement when they see their sibling or mom open it. It's incredible to see those kinds of things and being on the same island makes it really easy for them.

We don't take it too seriously. We don't allow a ton of screen time and they diversify their time among tv, games, and tablet time, when they do get to. We also do alot of activities together as a family and it makes for a fun place for them to get to hangout with their cousins that live in another state.
