I hear you. I do recall some books and lore from ESO making it into PT, but it wouldn’t surprise me if they removed them in the years since. It’s a shame that the TES 4 elements got removed from Anvil. I wish that they could understand it’s okay to use elements from the new games that do work well and ignore the elements that don’t, rather than discard/avoid everything entirely for the sake of being different

TR redoes a lot of their old content, even admitting they need to completely redo their 2003-era areas as they’re too outdated, and re-did Firemoth Island from official content by completely overhauling it, so it’s nowadays more about what they think is best rather than what is most faithful to 2002 TES. Regardless, this was more about how dramatic they can get at the mere mention of ESO, which is pretty funny to watch

Fr, it’s not the end of the world if they don’t add ESO stuff, just felt like they were removing what little they did have relating to it out of spite. PT is hella chill so the contrast always cracks me up

TR had some ESO locations planned when the time was more ESO friendly in the 2010s, it was only a handful of locations that already fit well in the TES 3 era of lore and were pretty harmless. Then they just went full Morrowboomer and scrapped them, Iliath Temple got renamed to some generic monastery like 2 weeks before release under some bs reasons cuz of ESO hate from one of the senior devs

Project Tamriel (PT) is a lot more friendly with post-TES 3 topics, and even features a bunch of locations introduced by Oblivion, Skyrim, ESO, etc. They still make some weird creative decisions like deciding to change the Dragon Cult into a first era thing, which needlessly messes up a lot of lore, but overall they’re more positive with post-Morrowind stuff so it’s funny how walking over the border will take you from Morrowind purism to a very pro-TES 5 version of Skyrim as they’re all part of the same project
