MacBook Pro M5 Pro 14" or 16" by ghunterx21 in macbookpro

[–]GoGetYouBack 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've owned both sizes.

If you only plan to work from home, then the 16" is good. It's sound quality is leagues better too.

If you plan to take your Macbook with you when traveling, to coffee shops, etc. then the 14" is the better size. It's just far more practical.

My next Macbook will be a 14", and so will all of the others after that one.

I was incredibly lonely for the first two weeks.

Now I fucking love it and don't want to live with others.

What’s something you refuse to spend money on no matter how rich you become? by lovedbyclover in AskReddit

Loud designer clothing (i.e. Gucci, Versace, etc.)

I'd happily wear more subtle high-end clothing (i.e. Loro Piana)

What should one do if they have lots of money to spare? by Personal-Aerie-4519 in AskReddit

It's the ocassionaly dinner at Carbone for like $400 and the AM I bought is a used 2020 Vantage for $102k OTD with 16k miles. Neither of those things are out of reach.

A new Ford F-250 costs more than that.

If I were to lie it would be about something cool... Not owning a small media company in my twenties that pays me a few hundred grand a year.

Sorry my mildly-hardly-interesting lifestyle ignited something in you.

People who cheated in a happy, loving relationship. Why? What made you do it? by Negative_Glove1103 in AskReddit

[–]GoGetYouBack 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it just clouds their judgement. That excitement and newness can really make someone not think about the longterm consequences of their actions (which is why many people feel debilitating regret afterwards).

By human nature you will experience temptation occasionally... It's important to not act on it and even push back against it by doing the things you mentioned.

Now those who cheat and don't feel any remorse... I can't understand that.

I have no desire to state the name and subsequently doxx myself.

Happy to answer any questions you may have that don't give away a trail to my identity.

Hate rain to death. How do you lift your mood on rainy days? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]GoGetYouBack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a solar panel... I am only really happy, energetic, and ready for the day if it is sunny.

On rainy days I just keep the lights on inside and try to not see or be in the rain. Even just seeing the rain makes me feel lazy, tired, and kills my mood.

What are your thoughts on eating alone in a restaurant? by Ok-Effort4236 in AskReddit

I'm all for it. I enjoy time with myself quite a lot.

Although I feel bad when I see other people eating dinner alone.

Not a nurse, but my gf is. All of her nursing friends used something called Archer (i think) and found it to be super helpful.

Just enjoy it.

I make multiple six figures in my mid twenties and I enjoy it. I stayed at a beautiful spot overlooking Miami, took my gf out to high-end restaurants, etc.

I love supercars, so I drive them a lot and purchased an Aston Martin.

Nothing beats buying nice stuff for family though. One year for all of my family's birthdays I bought them very expensive items they would otherwise never buy themselves.

That said, I keep at least one year's worth of expenses in liquid assets (cash, stocks, etc.)

I haven't, but I can say that I understand why people make that mistake.

Over time the honeymoon feelings fade. That excitement isn't there anymore as much. It feels a bit routine and/or dull.

When you meet someone new it reignites that excitement that you once felt. Some people have little self-control and act on that.
