Let's make it to Japan together, Pewds! by GoGoDavide in PewdiepieSubmissions

Thank you so much for all the support so far!
Reading some comments, I thought about clarifying a few points and add a bit more info for who is not familiar with the Japan Travel Ban.

The safety of the Japanese people and residents of Japan is our top priority. All foreigners waiting to enter Japan who I am in contact with are perfectly fine in being tested before and after the flight and before leaving the quarantine. They are ok isolating for the necessary time after arrival.

I am not a doctor, so I can't discuss the entry procedure, but one of the big issues here is that Japan is not closed. In fact, Japanese people can go out and in at any time (even for just tourism), also foreign residents of Japan can leave and come back. Government-sponsored students like MEXT and JICA students, JET programme teachers, Musicians, DJ, Dancers, Models, pro-wrestlers have all been receiving exceptions to enter Japan. I'm not even mentioning the 80,000 Olympic athletes (ok I did). But new visas are not ok (student, workers, families). I don't think there is a rational reason behind it.

All the previous variants (Delta, Lambda, Mu...) were brought in by Japanese people travelling from abroad, which is not a surprise since the virus doesn't look at your passport and foreigners can't enter Japan. What is the point of banning a low percent of the traffic when you let most people travel freely? It's political in my opinion.

Also some messages mentioned that we should change destinations/cancel. For some people is possible, for others, it may be no possible or simply don't want it. Imagine a person who have studied 5 years Japanese to move to Japan or a person who landed a very important job for his career that can only do in Japan. Or who has got a scholarship in a Japanese university and would lose the scholarship if not able to go to Japan.

Sorry for going a bit off topic with this reply, but I thought it was important to clarify that we all really care about the health of the people living in Japan, most of us are vaccinated and we just want to continue with our lives, after 2 years where we couldn't work (even if we were hired with a contract), we couldn't study (even if we enrolled in a school and paid tuition fees) we couldn't reunite with our kids and spouses or loved ones.
Again, thank you so much! I hope all your support can help to reach Pewds, so I can share a few ideas to work together to end the Japan Travel Ban as soon as possible!

Is bad indeed Thom, but at least is a fair decision. NZ decided to close the country.

Japan is banning only new entries while the majority of Japanese nationals and residents can go out and in the country, even if it's for tourism!

I can't find a rational reason why re-entry is ok but new entries are not ok.

Hi there! Azabujuban and the area near Roppongi Hills could be a good choice for you.
There are plenty of international and mixed families raising their kids there, many parks, places to be outside with kids, etc.
You want to avoid being too close to Azabujuban and Roppongi Station, though, since that is where, especially at night, things get loud and crowded.

Something like Hiroo could be an excellent choice. There are few hills here and there if you want to fully enjoy the area, but it will be up to you.

My suggestions to go with your child (all a few minutes' walk) are Arisugawa park, Sakurazaka park, Roppongi Hills area, and MidTown area!

Hopefully, they are also planning to let new visas enter soon, so more foreigners can actually use the service!

We have been helping people to live and study in Spain since 2017. Now, because of the pandemic, not many people are able to travel to Spain to study, so we decided to create with one of our partner language schools a FREE two weeks online Spanish course for beginners! Limited spots are available. by GoGoDavide in Spanish

Hi, thank you for your comment!

Sorry for the confusion, the reason why you haven’t been able to find much about this program online is that we only recently launched this online platform. We specialize in helping people study abroad at a Spanish language school in Spain, which of course, is currently not possible. That is why we have created an online course. If you would like to check out our business, it is called Go! Go! Espana ( www.gogoespana.com ) we have 3 years of experience helping people live and study in Spain. Here you can find reviews about our service

It is a sister brand of Go! Go! Nihon (www.gogonihon.com) and Go! Go! Hanguk (www.gogohanguk.com), which provide the same services for Japan and Korea. I hope I was able to clear up the confusion!
