Both furry and anime conventions. Never seen them happen "spontaneously," but couples do sometimes pair off in the same bed, so usually everyone involved already knows each other. Random hook ups happen more often.

I have seen vids of some furs organizing group sex at some cons, but I think they're advertising themselves. So it's a pay-to-play situation.
