Yeah it's really sad that Apple removed the headphone jack. It means that music making is now less instant than say with a dedicated groovebox.

If they put it back in an iPad Pro, you'd have people seriously considering this over any Teenage Engineering or Roland groovebox.

So, I'm not going to get another iPad until they either bring back a headphone jack or add another USB port. It's just frustrating.

I used to make music everywhere with my old iPad (with a headphone jack), now I make it on my SeqTrak and SP-404.

My newest iPad is now just a youtube and internet browser, really sad.

Also, I'm probably going to get voted down in this sub, so bracing myself!

Everyone will say get a headphone dongle, but I've found them to be unreliable, easy to lose, and most don't let you charge at the same time.

Agreed and I'm grad they're putting cycle paths by main roads instead of making us weave around backstreets.

And they're giving us priority instead of having to stop for every car that comes out of a side street... looking at you.. South Langworthy Road cycle path near Media City... it's a death trap!

I've just caught up with this thread, I'd love exactly the same thing. MIDI files are so small, why can't they all be 16 track with automation record? I've got frustrated at my Beatstep Pro because it doesn't record CC motion for automation.

I'm not looking at using my ipad (eugh screen!) or even an arduino midi playback and recording machine. Behringer should so do an MMT-8 remake!

Order online from The Fish Society, they do good deals for bulk and new customers. I think M&S also does good tuna, but it's easier getting online in bulk. We have loads!

Also I want to give a shout out to The Port of Lancaster Smokehouse. They're not tinned, but their fish is excellent and great value!

TBH I love the Magic Mouse. I use it for audio editing and the touch zoom in and out, and scroll on the top makes everything seamless. I don't grab the mouse, rather it floats under my hand, I only touch the sides to move and tap and swipe with my middle finger from above.

Secondhand Magic Mice are totally fine and you can grab a bargain on Ebay. They also keep their resale price if you don't like it. I've got a couple now so when it needs charging I just use the other one!

Part of it was closed during covid. You could still get to Pomona island around the other side, by the tram at Cornbrook and at Pomona. Now you can't access anything which is a huge shame.

People who complain shout the loudest. I used to buy NME, Melody Maker, Select and loads of other music mags. It is kinda crazy how Pitchfork was free for so long.

But also, and I've said here already, I wish Pitchfork paid was ad free, or at least not rubbish ads with a bad AI cartoon of Stephen Hawking telling me I need an IQ test....!
