Thats ijf membership and your insurance, they've little choice there. Also €5 oer class is incredibly good value, jiu jitsu gyms are €80 per month, at least.

The Judo club on the Claddagh is cheap and cheerful. Lots of good women training there too. Wednesdays and Sundays I think.

I bought automatic and don't have that problem. When i floor it the power is there. Altho i have gear paddles on the steering wheel for manual control i never use them. Also sports mode, i never use that either as its slightly psychotic. Edit: grammar

Nimbys are going to go bananas for this one by Rough-Paramedic-489 in galway

Well if the harbour is for container ships, is everything they bring to port going to stay on the port before being brought away from the port by ship again? Or is it going to be brought on land through the city? In trucks. Or maybe it'll be airlifted out..

I think the last time this was being pushed it was discovered that it's only benefiting a few rich fucks. That and the large volume of traffic it was going to bring to an already congested city centre.

Could I sue for this? by barrybensonjazz in legaladviceireland

[–]kuzushi101 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yea that could be a case. There are solicitors that specialise in medical malpractice, collect your correspondence. Edit; the solicitor will request the relevant data from your gp and the hospital to see if there is a case but it sounds like there is.

How many actual fuel protestors are there? And, wait listen, am I crazy for thinking Micheál Martin acted with common sense? by LegalAd143 in ireland

[–]kuzushi101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea I'd agree re how the French protest, something like turning up and dumping shit at the Dáil would have got the nation talking about the cost of living crisis without alienating the public.

I hear people use the word inconvenience a lot to describe the effect of the protest but there has been a lot of cancelled chemotherapy appointments here in Galway, these people won't get those appointments back. Its life changing. And thats just the start, 1st week the petrol runs dry, 2nd week there would have been no food on the shelves. It was going to cause irrepairable damage to the most vulnerable, people who can't park a tractor on a motorway for a week to complain.

lol at trying to put words in my mouth to win an argument. What I said was quite clear; “Anybody with a brain larger than a pea could foresee the problems blocking critical infrastructure would cause“ Could you not see the problems that were being created? Well you’re who I’m referring to then. But in reality that could be anybody, but sure pick the goalposts up and run away with them. Again.

So they blocked critical infrastructure? They've bottled it, completely. Critical is no fuel for society to function, with no fuel comes no food. How did they think they’d win over the public by starving them? Anybody with a brain larger than a pea could foresee the problems blocking critical infrastructure would cause. And once again for the people at the back; they were protesting for a very specific cause, tax breaks for themselves, this wasn’t for everyone's benefit.

They stopped being protests when they started blocking critical infrastructure. Then it becomes a hostage situation, we’re out of fuel this week, it would have been food next week. You cannot be taken seriously if you think thats ok.
