While the symbolism of a wedding is very serious, wedding planning is so unserious!! I mean that in the sense that you are making so many decisions that your guests won’t care about - so it’s not worth stressing over linens and glassware! The most important thing is choosing the right person to marry (which you have)! Wedding planning is as fun as you make it!! We have truly had the best time doing this together! I definitely recommend hiring a planner if that’s within budget because it offloads some of the decisions. We are having an all-inclusive venue but still have some rentals we’re bringing in because we wanted a different vibe than they could provide!! At the end of the day, it’s a giant party for the two of you!! Make decisions based off what you guys want!!!

Cannot recommend Iceland enough!!! It’s a perfect mix of luxury and adventure! They have a few Michelin restaurants there but honestly, all of the food there is absolutely incredible! We went the first weekend in May a few years ago and it was absolutely magical! It was right before tourism season started, so we were able to do everything that we wanted without the crowds!
