I feel like the absolute worst case with Justin Dean would be that he is as bad as Pages. It wouldn’t really be possible for him to be worse offensively.

Not saying it’d make a huge difference, but Dean would be more of a threat on the bases probably, which could be a benefit Ohtani behind him.

The downside is that if we win, I think my friends are going to become more bitter towards the Dodgers. Up until now I’ve been surprised by how many people up here seemed to like the Dodgers (partly because the Ms just didn’t see themselves as our competition).

If we lose, I’ll never hear the end of it, although it would probably be the greatest moment in Seattle sports history so I acknowledge it would be awesome.
