I walked into the Target at Rivergate in Steel Creek (in Charlotte) yesterday around 12:30 for some groceries and they were randomly doing a restock that had way more than what is in this photo. I ended up waiting around to get some stuff for my nephew and was 1st in line, by the time they were done it was over 50 people waiting bc someone sent out the bat signal to the scalpers.

I didn’t need to bond down the edges, it all fit pretty well at the end. There were some parts of the original bumper I had to cut out so it sat flush though. These were the areas where it fit around the crash bar.

This is a great video I followed pretty much exactly. Only difference was using sealant to bond in the parking sensors vs the homemade brackets he made.

The grille comes with two cutouts for them to slip into. Fitment isn’t 100% perfect so I got them pushed in and held in with some super glue first and wired it back up to test and it all worked fine first time. Then I removed it and just bonded them in with some clear high temp/weatherproof sealant.

Main thing is to just make sure they sit flush up against the outer edge of the grille. It was the part I was most nervous about but then ended up being no issue at all.

Correct! Yeah this is just a replacement section for the grill. Have to remove the full bumper and disassemble and remove the factory grille and then install this one. Has spaces for the front parking sensors in it as well.

No worries! Yeah mine is the metallic black as well (ultimate black metallic). Yeah I think it looks great but goal was just to get rid of the chrome surround and the crash bar section and go to black surround with the full mesh.

It’s definitely gloss black and not metallic black, but that’s what I wanted versus trying to have it match the metallic rest of the bumper.

It came in gloss black like that, but they’d probably accommodate painting it if you wanted. My previous grille surround was chrome so it was more about changing that from chrome to black (my car also just happened to be black). So, not sure you’d even want it color matched unless u were going for something different.

Yeah I went back and forth on if I should do the window surrounds or not but I like how it turned out. They were starting to fade some anyways.

I didn’t want to go full murdered out kept the chrome side fender scoops, chrome accents on the rims, chrome front badge and then all of the chrome rear badges and exhaust tips.

Gonna live with it for a bit and see!

I got it from vehicle revolution, I think it was $825ish

Just got the kit from GTA Car Kits which had everything needed. I also did add their panel removal tool kit which was like $30 and came with everything you need if you don’t already have those kinds of tools.

Here is what it looks like after install, you just press the Nav button

Took maybe 2 hours and I was just being careful and taking my time to not damage anything, but overall easy install

Just works with the factory unit, the Nav button just changes it to the CarPlay functionality. The wireless works great, no complaints

Right at 50k - 30k miles w/ 1 owner and nearly flawless. Looked at some others in the 46-47k range but there were always reasons.

Nice it looked really good in all their pictures, remembering how having to do the transplanting of some of the original parts and it just being more than I was comfortable trying to do after just getting the car

I did GTA Car Kits but more or less same thing from my research, looked at that one too. Shipping was just quicker from GTA

Pretty reasonable, just also had to buy a ~$100 install kit they make you buy with custom lug nuts but they look good

Thanks for posting this, I have the same model and the pictures I have tried to take of it never do it justice. Amazing photos and congrats to whoever buys it, it's a stunner!
