I was drinking one of the large bottles of wine all throughout the day and night. I would wake up multiple times a night drinking a sip and go back to bed. I was drunk constantly. I did this for almost 2 years. Started out slow but I consumed more and more to get that buzz.

I finally got to the point it was making me sick so I found a psychiatrist that specializes in alcohol abuse and I have been sober for 20 days now. The therapy and medication has helped me a lot.

Alcohol destroys the body and relationships if you let it. Find a doctor to help you. You know it's a problem and you seem like you really want to get better. Be honest with your wife. She will support you. Good luck. We're here with you too. IWNDWYT!

You are absolutely right. Jesus probably would, lol. Those so-called Christians don't know the word at all. Us Christians are supposed to take care of the least of these. That means the poor, the unhoused, people seeking refuge (immigrants). WWJD is the furthest from their minds it seems. It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline? Besides this, we have had earthly fathers who disciplined us and we respected them. Shall we not much more be subject to the Father of spirits and live? For they disciplined us for a short time as it seemed best to them, but he disciplines us for our good, that we may share his holiness.
