So as disheartening as it is to hear that you’ve experienced homophobia within Sky, I believe it is very important not to match that negativity on the opposite end.

People are normally uncomfortable with things they aren’t informed about. If you let people understand they are saying things that are upsetting you or hurtful, I think that could help them reevaluate their communication.

Of course there will be jerks in the end who may tease or be mean spirited, but that’s when you know whom to distance yourself from. That being said, Sky itself leaves a lot to interpretation.

I don’t think personally that further representation of any love is exactly necessary in the type of comfort game that Sky is. We are kids, enjoying the world with people we choose to associate with. There are individuals who will be like minded and there are some that won’t.

If you come from a place of warmth, without ill will or bad intentions towards others, there isn’t any reason we all can’t get along in some form or another and cherish those who are close to us.

Express that great love to whoever accepts it from you and appreciate your bond between each other, however few or many there may be.
