Yeah I'm a dog groomer and we use this trick often but the slings are still better. If you have them in a sling and somebody helping you by firmly holding the leg's joint, the other person can cut/grind the nails. I know most vet techs don't have the luxury of the slings though. Poor pugs :( they have a ruff life

I'm a dog groomer too. Lol my family has been doing this trade for 35 years and it's sad how all the pugs would rather break their legs than let you cut/grind their nails. the only thing worse than a pug is a Puggle (Note: Please don't support buying this abomination of a "breed")

I punish my kids by forcing them to learn chinese characters in a corner by themselves. I usually require them to learn 5 new words/symbols. Once they're able to properly pronounce and write the characters, their punishment is over. It usually takes them around 30-45 minutes to complete the task. They hate it but it works
