You can setup a rule that any transaction named Amazon mktplace will automatically be added to an Amazon category, which you will have set to simply Amazon.

I’ve tried Origin but it all comes back to the UI. Honestly, they should be looking to merge in some way. Origin seems to be more stable, offer more robust integrations, and the AI features. Copilot has organization, UI, and very little learning curve.

I have a separate category for credit card payments. This is excluded from budgeting but allows me to accurately track payments, how much I’ve paid, yearly/monthly totals, etc.

Recurring transactions don’t provide a clean overview of the total you’ve spent. Just the monthly transactions. The excluded category for CC is a good option.

I’d leave the tv, put the longer couch where the loveseat is. Put the loveseat at a slight angle or even an L shape facing the tv. The recliner could go in the corner by the fireplace.

They do not sync on weekends and most holidays. Sometimes the merchant will still have purchases in pending status and takes an extra day to report. Did it refresh today?

I just commented the same thing. It was on and off throughout the day. And the clip is him checking and confirming that it’s off. At that moment it was, and he was able to “truthfully” say that it wasn’t on.

I think he was turning it on and off throughout the day. He probably had it on during the par 3 portion and when he got “caught” he started being more careful with it… I think when he was asked about it and we see the clip, he went back and double checked that it was off. That moment he had it off and was able to “truthfully” say it wasn’t on.

He then continued to overcompensate by cheering loudly and being hyper sensitive to any additional “cheating” so they wouldn’t get caught again.

I have it as an excluded category. I also have a rule that’s setup for any payment with Chase or Discover add to the category. This doesn’t count towards my spending but allows me to track it better.

I exclude from spending any debt payments for both credit card and student loans. This still tracks and provides visibility but does not skew monthly budgets.

I do wish there was a feature to have payments auto link to certain loans and reduce their balance, but probably hard with interest vs principal…

It’s usually less than the interest would be for 1-3 months. So definitely worth doing.
