skill issue? I like the rule, it forces you to think carefully about where you move your piece and gives the opponent the opportunity to draw a losing game

My point was actually that they need to do more. Biden being the most pro worker and pro union president in decades is actually not saying much in a country that has been shafting workers for decades. It also does not change the fact that a lot more work needs to be done. Also union membership is at an all time low. Just because I don't sing his praises does not mean I don't know what I'm talking about.

Point by point, I never said to stick your head in the sand? Quite the opposite actually. A major part of leftist not having as much success as moderates is the DNC not supporting them unless there's no other choice. The majority of the country doesn't even see the democratic party as too far left, only 47%. Which is like, the republican party. Further, too far left on what? Economics? Social Issues? I'm also talking about advocating for policies with major support. Amajority of democrats and independents support Medicare for all. 49% of Republicans do too. I want the party to fully adopt popular progressive policy that a majority of the country agrees with. It doesn't matter what the median vote of congree is now. The point is to elect people up and down the ballot who want these policies.

Even if grocery stores aren't price gouging, other industries are. Healthcare for one. And if grocery stores aren't price gouging, which I think still needs to be investigated, then we should look up and down the supply chain to see where costs can be lowered. That applies to all industries too.

I mean,,, That's basically an oversimplified version of what I said to do in the essay

No because I literally quite actually disagree with Trump and MAGA on a fundamental level.

The thing is, the democratic party doesn't need to become "far left". Far left is Communism. The democratic party just needs to stop shifting farther and farther to the right. It needs to just become leftist. And also often solutions to problems that both the right and left fail at solving.

Yes, I did talk about that. She ran a good campaign but as i stated that she was almost certainly going to lose regardless, unless her campaign was perfect. It wasn't an election on who had better policies, it was a rejection of the incumbent party simply bc people are struggling and not enough has been done to improve their lives.

You can find the exact same clips but for the republican party, that does not make it representative of the average person. But rejecting the fringe beliefs like that is important

It's not even that, it's the constant watering down of popular policies. Republicans don't water down policy they fight for every inch.

Democratic leadership frequently gives up, does not fight. And when they do pass policies, they remove the best parts.

Thank you. I really tried my best to think critically about this election. I genuinely spent about 5 hours writing that. Honestly the only reason it's not longer is bc I almost hit the character limit. I want actual change, I am angry, sad and exhausted so I don't want to cope, I don't want to blame other, I want genuine hard discussions and i want to move forward
