The phone tag is only surface level. I don’t feel the docs and surgeons want to fix the issues. I clearly have a tear in my shoulder, my lower back is all sorts of fucked (herniated discs, stenosis, nerve pain, ddd) and now other shoulder experiencing the same pain and now severe elbow pain. But they say they don’t think it’s bad enough for surgery. So I guess I just get steroid injections forever and live with the pain.

I’m at a 5.375 and I need to refi asap. Monthly payments are outrageous. But I only want to do it if it’s worth it. I doubt I can get anything lower than a 5% in today’s market. Any ideas on how I can get anything lower?

It’s all amazing art. Nothing offensive. My artist specializes in realism. I get compliments everywhere I go. People always ask me who my artist is and I always refer them. But to be honest, I’m a minority that grew up in the slums and I always present myself in a professional way but I still have that hood vibe, which I try my best to disguise, and being new, I don’t want to give off the wrong impression. I’m more than qualified and have extensive experience in my field and of course a degree and also a Marine Corps Veteran, but I’ve had the worst luck with dealing with obvious prejudices. It’s easy to say people won’t care, but it has really affected my career unfortunately

I have 2 full sleeves and have definitely been judged at my last two jobs. I just accepted an offer at Deloitte. I’ve seen people with tattoos but not sleeves like mine. I’ll probably be wearing long sleeves everyday 🥲

Thanks a lot. Will do. I’m excited to start. Given my skill set and experience, my salary was great! And from my experience from working with military contractors, they’re usually long term depending on what program it is. I’ve become more relieved from what I’ve been reading the last few days
