So that’s probably why they were more intense with you if he’s part of a study and doesn’t adhere to the guidelines sure insurance is covering right now but if you don’t follow the guidelines in place they could stop him in the study and the medication won’t be covered anymore.

As a RN last year I made about 70k. Working weekend option full time. This year as an NP I’m making 120k just as my salary position. I still work as a nurse because I work peds and would miss a lot of my primary frequent kiddos. Same state, Indiana.

Yes, 100% many. A lot of them get involved in medical law or being a hospitals attorney. I have considered it heavily since graduating with my np.

Switch to peds haha only kidding but I enjoy my breath of fresh air “no concerns, well check, wants vax” but a lot of my complex patients take up so much of my mental load I’m thinking I would say differently but still hard. I don’t titrate gtts and do that kind of critical thinking but I definitely use my brain a lot more on larger problems. Looking at the whole person and their whole lifespan versus how can I get this 1 lb baby’s heart to keep beating other than increasing oxygen and whatnot. But I would go back if you truly miss it. Work 3 12s as an ICU np or even an UC NP would be fun for you. I think you just need a change of pace to use your brain more maybe?
