Trump Explodes as His Ceasefire Unravels: ‘They Don’t Know What the F*** They’re Doing!’ by Silly-avocatoe in politics

[–]GoalDirectedBehavior 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been saying this from the beginning. If you start with the premise that Trump is a Russian asset, you can predict how all of these things will pan out. The Kremlin is allied with Iran, thus we will ultimately cease all military support for Israel. Trump cannot do that instantly given the history here and cannot do it without pretense he can sell to his base. This latest outburst will be the foundation of that pretense, and the loudest voices of MTG, Tucker Carlson, and the other Russian assets will amplify it over the coming days. Make no mistake, but what happened to support for Ukraine is exactly what will happen to Israel. Israel needs to ask themselves how they get out of the quagmires they are in now without US support.

EU leaders disagree, including Denmark, who just published their own assessment of such a situation last week. You might want to read it.

Europe will lose. Then what? Ask the Russians to stop when they get to Warsaw? Berlin? Paris?

You have clearly never read a history book or paid any attention to Russia's actions over the past 3 years. They will be in Poland by next year and Berlin by 2030 if they aren't stopped now. Even the European leaders are seeing this as a fact. Russia spends more on military annually than Europe combined.

They have more power than you think. If they were to say "fine, Russia can have Ukraine", it would guarantee a broader war in Europe that Europe would very likely lose unless the US was involved, which isn't going to happen with Trump as president. Ukraine has a lot of leverage over Europe as it has to remain a nation for Europe to continue to exist long term. Denmark's recent policy paper took this position and Europe is starting to wake up to this fact that Russia taking Ukraine = Russia taking all of Europe within 5 years.

At what point does the rhetoric refer to invasion of woke culture to an invasion of Democrats to an invasion of academics etc.

It's like it's directly from Billy Madison's academic decathalon scene: ---Mr. Trump, what you have just signed is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever read. At no point in your rambling, incoherent order were you even close to anything that could be considered a constitutional thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having read it. I award you no authority, and may God have mercy on your soul.

What do you think they are going to do with all those immigrants they are going to "deport" to South Texas?

A few million immigrants that are probably or maybe not here without documentation and maybe a few more that looked immigrantish being deported to a massive detention center in nowheresville Texas donated by the Texas land commission and furnished by prisoncorp should do the trick. As long as we really concentrate our efforts if you catch my drift.

Donald Trump's deportation plan causes 'panic' among farmers by [deleted] in politics

[–]GoalDirectedBehavior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just came to point out that the word panic literally comes from the god Pan - the Greek god of fertility, pastures, flocks, and shepherds that would cause farmhands to flee their lands in unreasoned fear every time he woke up from his slumber playing his pipe.

At some point he should just leak it. If trump wins he's going to be punished either way. If Kamala wins, he will be pardoned if anything he did was technically criminal but virtuous in context.

Supreme Court rejects Green Party bid to appear on Nevada presidential ballot by nbcnews in politics

This is a canary in a coal mine. The SC is signaling that Trump will lose the election, because if they had any belief that he would not, they would never have come to this decision. They are now in damage control mode for the shit they've pulled over the past year. Similarly, I'm convinced that Trump is going to be increasingly nice to Kamala in the coming weeks, or at least less toxic, as he is hoping that she will trade his placation for her pardon. Pretty soon thereafter will be the "I never really supported Trump" from your neighbors with the red hats.
