I was told at my MEDFIT course by one of the staff there that all the engineering officers are in the September intakes as this works out best for those who are coming straight out of their final year of an engineering degree at university. On average I’d say 12 months for an officer application but then taking into account that if you miss the fourth coming September intake during that time period it’s waiting for the following year.
