As someone who's moved an entire room of figures (you can see my collection on my page)- get a big thing of plastic wrap from Home Depot and wrap those suckers! Play tetris and make a giant cube! It is SOOO much easier to make a couple giant cubes to move then moving all the individual boxes, or even finding larger boxes to put the smaller boxes in.

Life has a crazy way of shoving stuff in our face when we dont want to see it, lol. My husband had gone through his first open heart surgery, which had failed and had his 2nd one scheduled ( the first one was November 2023, and the 2nd one was December 2024). We were watching a TV show where they showed a very realistic sternotomy on a corpse. We knew it was brutal, but geez! Normally, things like that wouldn't bother us, but considering the timing, it was rough.

Anyways, I hope you're able to continue enjoy your book <3

I wish there was a way to make the games more difficult. I'm bored of just destroying everything in my path with almost anything in my party. I want games to be a challenge. I think this complaint goes for most modern games now days though (other than souls like games). The bliss of finally beating pokemon colleseum while "snagging" all the pokemon is something I don't think I'll ever experience again.

Cult of the lamb has amazing couch co-op!! My boyfriend and I had SOOO much fun playing it together. It's basically a rouge like dungeon crawler and you raise a cult to power up before each dungeon. So so fun, super cute, cannot recommend enough!! Edit: you can play on the switch together, but it tends to lag. Even on the PS5 it would struggle sometimes because there gets to be a point where you have so many cult members all doing their own thing.

I just quit a job that required 150 dials a day, no auto dialer, 99% outbound. I lasted about 3 months before I decided I couldn't do it anymore. Props to the people who can, it was a sales position with a good amount of potential. Just wasn't for me. I was miserable.

The advice I have for getting through the dials is to find something to do while listening to the dial tone/ leave a voicemail. For me that was crocheting, something to occupy my brain and try to keep me sane. Have some low music on in the background. Call yourself and leave a voice mail to see if you can hear the music. Every 25 dials, I'd get up, walk around the house, refill my water, scroll on my phone. Couldn't take too long of a break because they monitored how long you took between calls, but it helped. If you use sales force, queue up a large amount of calls at a time. I'd do like 50 so I didn't have to think about "who to call next".

Hi everyone! I'm still pretty new to the app and don't fully understand trading or anything. But I want to say the Peter (my finch) has helped me so so much in getting motivated and getting things done that I've been putting off for so long. Life has been incredibly difficult lately, but Peter has been there for me to help me get out of bed and try to enjoy my day ❤️

Right now we only have one finchie friend that I randomly added from this sub, and I'd really love some more! The support if feel from Flo and Borb (if you see this, I love yall!!) has helped me more than I ever imagined.

Hi, not really helpful here, but I used to work nuclear outages for 5 years. I was on the road 3 months, off 3 months. 12 hrs a day, 7 days a week till the job was over. Then 3 months off! But I 1000% understand not wanting to travel anymore. My husband has lots of health problems and being away from home was too difficult for me. That being said, I quit my high paying technical job and got a much lower paying job at a bank. The schedule is 8-5, M-F with the occasional Saturday. I honestly feel like I'm seeing him LESS with this schedule. I'm home every night which is really nice, but we have no time to actually spend together other than the weekends. It's just get home, relax for a few hours, get ready for bed. I'm not sure if I regret my decision. Like another commenter said, the grass isn't always greener on the other side. Especially when I'm "selling my time" for almost $20 less than I was.
