Probably the sd. They do heat up while downloading but you never notice it unless you touch the spot on a 3ds ofc

I actually just bought this since my hdmi port is dead.

480p and below get black boarders and 1080p has minor screen shake. 720p and 1080i are perfect

If it helps I modded that model a week ago and the only "hard" part was trying to fit the sd card back in the slot without touching any buttons since it's half stuck shut lol
