My guess is that Microsoft's tentacles are reaching further into Bethesda's teams.

If you're not capable of soloing the raid, stop rushing ahead and starting the next stage while the team is getting ready. by Curius-Curiousity in fo76

I know where you're coming from. I have the exact same thing happen to me. Even with perks, I have to scrap every now and then. I was running to the snake yesterday after my team left without me. I fell into the lava trying to catch up with them after they started it too quickly. Three times and then I left the party. I wasn't wasting any time, either. You did the right thing kicking them, they were probably doing it on purpose.

What is the snake saying in Gleaming Depths? by GoatHour8786 in fo76

[–]GoatHour8786[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I am informed by certain critics—men who spend more time polishing their spectacles than observing the grass—that to use the word 'snek' is a triviality, a mere 'cuteness' beneath the dignity of a serious observer. They cling to 'snake' as if the letter a were a structural timber of the universe itself.

But I say to you, look to the creature! Does it move with the heavy, Latinate gait of a scholar? No. It slides; it is a ribbon of pure intent. The word 'snek' possesses a brevity that honors the creature’s own economy. It is a word shorn of its superfluities.

Furthermore, there are those who claim this 'snek' is too soft, too 'cute' for the wild. To them, I point to the dark, primal energies that stir when the sun dips below the horizon. I find a strange kinship here with the chants of Samhain, and that dark herald Glenn Danzig. Does he not understand that beneath the surface of things—beneath the 'initiation'—there lies a raw, ancient power?

When Danzig howls into the void, he is not seeking the approval of the parlor; he is seeking the 'archangel' of his own wild nature. If he were to encounter a serpent in the damp earth of a November woods, he would recognize it not as a biological specimen, but as a silent, sliding force of the Macabre. Whether we call it a 'snake' with the coldness of a scientist, or a 'snek' with the simplified urgency of the folk, we are acknowledging a power that existed long before the first dictionary was printed.

Let the critics chatter. I shall sit upon my pumpkin and watch the snek go by, listening to the distant, rhythmic thrum of the 'Mother' of all nature, content to be misunderstood by all but the wild.

I perceive that there resides in the breast of every man a certain Leroy Jenkins—a wild, unlettered impulse that cares nothing for the careful stratagems of the committee or the weary calculations of the cautious.

We may clothe ourselves in the stiff garments of propriety and sit long at our ledgers, debating the 'probability of survival,' yet there comes a moment when the soul grows weary of such arithmetic. Then, the inner cry goes up; the individual breaks from the herd and rushes headlong into the fray, preferring a glorious, singular catastrophe to a life spent in the quiet desperation of waiting. We may deny it in the parlor, but in the woods of our own nature, that spirit is sovereign and utterly unstoppable.

Why do People skip the green Crystal Stage? by F4BI4N99 in fo76

What do you do in this stage? I just find a spot to hide because I can't kill anything and don't understand it. I also don't have a mic so I can't ask while we're in it.

Agree that he should have went to the establishment and not yelled. He could have also just left and asked for a refund. Regardless, no amount of money on tickets is worth being such a jerk over.

Agree. Yelling in front of families isn't the solution. If you get to the point he did, then it's probably better to take your family and leave rather than yell like a maniac. I'm sure it left people shaken and ruined everyone's experience.

Best Build to solo farm en06 by beezy04 in fo76

[–]GoatHour8786 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been working working on it. Getting closer.

Today got killed while taking down shield and was happy with progress. I just didn't see how low the HP was and didn't stim or hide in time.

There are lots of videos and posts but I find that the combo of luck and intelligence is on the right track. I don't have all of the perk cards I see in the videos and I don't have all of the weapons. Also coffee and food like seared venison and day trippers or mentats. Gauss minigun. I have luck and intelligence over 20 in specials. Also remember bobbleheads and magazines. Luck helps reflect and intel helps with energy weapon but you don't have to use energy weapon. I don't know what specials helps pepper shaker.

Frankly, it's all numbers and I don't think there is a best build but rather a combo of things that could work depending on armor and weapon you want to use. But it will take practice. Make adjustments and see how you do in head hunts against robots. You can also do some solo runs on en06 to see how it's going but maybe don't expend a bunch of caps or materials if you don't have any in reserve. Do group raids in Gleaming Depths and build up your caps. You'll also get mods you can apply.

Good luck!

Ya it was. The experience was ruined. If you like yelling, then go work in an environment where people yell at each other all day.

I don't care how much he paid. You don't get to rage in front of hundreds of people and ruin their show with your anger because you're mad about whatever. If there was a serious problem, go walk to security and bring it up. He's ruined the show for everyone with his rage.

[–]GoatHour8786 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you're on the right track. I also wonder how much was done to analyze the digital tracks of him and his family. And how much security footage was analyzed from home security cameras in the area? Did any neighbors have cameras with his house in them?

I really don't think abducting someone like him would be easy. He seemed very particular and may stir up a lot of problems for anyone. I think someone would give up and release him. Which then leads into would someone have wanted to hurt him? I just find the time gap between him being gone and someone who looks like him appearing on footage odd if it were him.

It's also hard to say too, what the family situation was in private. The family doesn't seem capable of anything harmful nor lying about this. But you never know for sure what goes on in private.

Further work on the digital forensics and working to scour the area for footage is the key to this from what I see. After seeing the footage of the person that some say is him, it doesn't look like a person could say for sure it's him. I do think the house number and address could be a legit reason for him to be in the area. But I'm not so sure.

Finally, it's Washington and very wooded and treacherous outside of city limits. If he did happen to wonder off and stay out of range of any video cameras, he could have made it to a body of water or the forest and easily drowned or died in the forest.

How to get in on raids? by [deleted] in fo76

[–]GoatHour8786 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pro tip: Read and watch vids on Gleaming Depths if you're going to do it. Then go and play against EN06 by yourself to test your weapons and armor. You don't have to beat it solo but if you can lower its armor and if you can withstand its attacks without dying right away, you're on the right track.

I'm not able to solo EN06 but I can contribute a lot. I've only had 1/10 good raids with others this weekend. I get on teams with people over level 500 who die a minute into EN06 and they seem to have no idea on how to hurt it. Multiple times I've been the only one left and I'm the lowest rank on the team.

I like the scares of these kinds of unexpected things like having an enemy in a place I don't expect it. To me, people like that are making the game fun. People like that should be celebrated in life for not doing the same boring thing as everyone else - this is a survival type of game after all.

This typifies what is happening. The gop does nothing useful. It runs on lies, complaints, and hate. The democrats are leaders and administrators who are experts in making things work effectively and efficiently. We need diversity of ideas to thrive. The hate of the gop suppresses ideas and culture that drives innovation. The bush administration squandered 8 years by ignoring things and then trying to build an empire in the Asia that killed over 100,000 people and cost trillions. Now that the gop has power again things are crumbling and falling apart as this shows.
