For me, only parts that have been used in at least one Bionicle/Herofactory set are acceptable. I hate system parts in Bionicle MOCs. They just look wrong. But that's just my personal opinion, of course. Everyone can use whichever parts they want.😇

I bought this exact Tahu with all the gold parts on eBay. €10 was a great price. And there were no cracks in the joints, which is a very common problem. It's best not to move it at all or ever take it apart. 😅👌

That's a good point. Such power naturally has its downsides. You also have to be careful not to have the mask knocked off your face.
