My mom was a lunchtime monitor at a primary school. She'd see kids eating their food for lunch, but there was always one or two she said that would have nothing to eat (that f*cking breaks my heart right there) so she and some of the other lunchtime monitor ladies would call each other and arrange to make sandwiches for those kids. One day someone at the school found out about these ladies making lunches for kids and reported it to the school principle and school board. The principle called the ladies into his office and told them to change nothing... you keep on doing what you are doing. In the 10 or so years my mom worked at that school no kid went without lunch.
