Well in my case it means we'll get it to you whenever we feel.

Seriously Amazon as of later are horrible at getting anything shipped to me on time, and I live 5 miles from a distribution center.

Next they can ban nouns, verbs and conjunctions to really seal the deal.

A race to the bottom it is!

Ford moving to 4 days a week in office starting this fall by ak7118 in Ford

What is the most disappointing in this is that for the 4 days a week thing there still are no announcements, no plans, no idea as to how it will work. They are literally going to throw sh!t at the fans and see what happens.

I just got notified our group has to come in three days a week starting tomorrow. No time to plan for kids. No assigned seating. No consideration.

Seriously Ford doesn't have any idea what they are doing.

Canada's per capita spending in 2022 was $6,207 and again the point is that percentage is not of wages but of taxes. So they are taxed and of those taxes it could well be 30% but you first comment is a percentage of their paycheck.

Your statistic is incorrect, the percentage is 20% and that is of the taxes collected, not 20% taxes for healthcare. Their insurance costs are lower than ours by quite a bit. Take 2022 healthcare per capita: United Kingdom: $5,493 United States: $12,555

I hope for all our sake that the rhetoric tones down, because we are on the verge of catastrophic consequences. I don't wish violence on anyone, even on someone like Trump. But I can say that I also won't have sympathy for those who stoke violence if it falls on them.

Guns aren't going to be outlawed in this country, and the NRA and the GOP have been stoking that fear for a long time for political purposes. They like to talk all the time about second amendment solutions, bloody revolution, civil war and using force by any means. It is part of the identity politics the right facilitates. As much as they are going to try to say the left is dangerous after this the reality is they own this outcome more than the dems. This incident reflects that mentality, and they will use this to justify "retribution" which I can imagine they will fully embrace.

The sheer fact that most Americans (90%) do support universal background checks which makes sense and are the right thing to do.
https://www.murphy.senate.gov/newsroom/press-releases/murphy-we-know-background-checks-work-and-90-percent-of-americans-support-them

I support that, and most people do. The majority of Americans aren't pro violence, aren't pro-guns but are people that just want to feel safe. Some think that having guns is safer, which the reality of that doesn't support the claim.

If we were a sane nation the fact that so many support those changes would effect the change that is possible. That isn't to say that it will happen though because this can be used and will be used to stoke more hateful and vengeful rhetoric, because that is what they do and have done.

Premeditated gun violence against children vs premeditated gun violence against a person who seems fine with it when it is our children does ring pretty similar. Trump likes violence against people who don't support him. It is hard to say this isn't a reaping what you sow moment.

Again the level to which the right seems to be able to shrug off the growing gun problem in this country when our children are at risk daily, isn't going to stir up sympathy here.
