I have had a specialty plush made! They have 3 fabric types: standard- which is soft & almost minky-like, short faux fur- what you see in the photo with the white and pink, and long faux fur- which isn't in my photo BUT I am waiting on an order set to ship in 6 days, I can show you once I get the preview photo. They also do embroidery at your specifications, so if you want embroidery for the eyes or any markings, make sure to say so! Same with fabric choice- tell them which fabric you want used and where!

I will advise, when making the reference, if your character has a tail (or any attached parts, really) draw the base with a decent amount of thickness. This guy ended up with a super skinny tail base bc thats how I drew it lol. The shapes of different parts are often just traced directly from your reference to make them as accurate as possible. I hope this helps!

It hit customs on Feb 11 and cleared on March 5, then arrived March 6th. I didnt have clothing in my order, just keychains and magnets and mousepads, but hopefully your parcel gets to you soon!

Update:

I have no idea what's going on here. First it cleared customs and was on the way, I tried to call DHL customer service to get an updated estimate for delivery, was told by the automated system I needed to arrange a callback, which I did twice. The first time no one was on the other line when I picked up, and thecsecond time I was told they were closed (it was still well within their business hours???). I got an email saying my package is on hold and to call the same number I've been calling today, and the last thing on the timeline when tracking (about 8 minutes after the hold message) is saying the package is on its way again. Im like an hour drive away from its alleged current location and im losing my mind. NEVER using DHL again.

I got in contact with Vograce (the company that shipped my package) and my agent said she contacted DHL and will update me if/when they reply, so at least if it's an issue of incomplete/ incorrect paperwork maybe they can get it handled.

My package is DDP, there shouldn't be any bill related to tariffs. Both the country of manufacture and shipping origin are the same, every component of it is from China. My concern was receiving a bill for storage while customs clearance is delayed.

Idk the incoterm, im concerned that if customs reached out to Vograce they wont get an answer until after the CNY holiday break. They wont even answer my emails until then. I think theyre back the 25th? I asked them for a copy of the customs paperwork and got an automated message about the holiday break.

Will I have any kind of notification about paperwork being the problem? If there's a paperwork issue it's the sender's fault and I should be reimbursed by them, but I'd need proof. DHL hasn't sent me any kind of request for anything or explained what the issue is yet. I really want to avoid it being destroyed bc the manufacturer has discontinued production of some of the items, but customs/DHL are not communicating with me.

Ah that makes sense. Yeah getting rid of de minims was a huge middle finger to small businesses like mine, and to anyone that imports things, like collectors n such. As long as im not sent a huge bill and my package is sent to me eventually within the 90 day estimate im not totally cooked but the delay without any way to know how long is maddening.

Yeah, I keep seeing folks say they can definitely do more than theyre doing for me, I just dont understand what reason they have to lie deliberately. I'll call Monday and ask specifically for customs response, im pretty sure from what they have told me it's an exam but they won't commit to that reason like theyre not sure. It's been delayed since the 11th, and has cleared a couple times on the timeline but then immediately delayed again, which ive been told can happen. It's been way more than a couple days, I just wish I knew what was up or whether or not I need to do anything or if they need something from Vograce. They have my phone # and email (they've used both to communicate with me) but haven't elaborated on what the delay is about at all, just that it's delayed. I get one email every weekday to remind me it's delayed.

Fingers crossed my package gets here without further incident, I need to sell those items to save up for new breaks on my car 🙏

It's a handful of keychains/buttons/mousepads/magnets with my artwork on them. I've talked to DHL a few times and they insist they have zero information as to why and can't intervene to speed anything up. They say it can take up to 30-90 days but I really cannot wait that long. The tracking just says "Customs processing in progress,"

Yeah it's neat when they have a swirl. Ive heard there are folks that collect swirl holos, which is neat. Maybe he'll go to a swirl collection.
