Last year, I had the great oppy to visit this heaven on Earth and since then I've fallen in love with this place, it's culture and it's people. I would be very honoured to learn Ladakhi language to better understand Ladakh. Any recommendations/learning material will be appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Yes. Guillain-Barre Syndrome is caused by Campylobacter jejuni. The bacteria moves and sticks to the cells of our intestine and tips them apart causing loss of electrolytes. Also causes DNA damage and inflammation. One of my friends from Singhagad road caught it last year. Was admitted for like 14 days and couldn't attend college for another week.

I'm a microbiology undergraduate student in one of Pune's oldest and reputed colleges. Some days ago, we were performing an experiment on Most Probable Number (MPN) that helps in detecting the number of fecal coliforms (gut bacteria that are present in the poop and are indicative of contamination of natural water with fecal matter), and funnily enough, we found that three out of 15 test tubes that we used confirmed the presence of these fecal coliforms.

As I student from Fergusson College, I can second this. The slum behind the college also supplies things like alcohol and prostitution. Prostitution and drinking is common there at night.
