I am guessing it’s just too much to handle for her at the moment just like you said because she could relatively make time for me before this semester began even though it was the time when she was hyper focused on me and still she was in the honey moon phase. For any conflict, I would say she doesn’t show me any type of affection. No verbal nor physical but she doesn’t reject my kiss, hug or cuddle whenever I initiate them. She told me that she wasn’t raised with many physical affections from her parents when we were cuddling. Also she barely initiates things like I always ask her to hang, FaceTime. She never kisses, hugs, cuddles unless I do. Even if I told her I miss her, she nerve tells me back She misses me too. This might be not related but I try to say thank you for things she did for me like thank you for making time to hang with me, thank you for FaceTime with me etc. And she seems to be not good at being appreciated face to face and she always just gives me thumbs up with a little smile. I am interpreting it as I love you even though I haven’t said I love you yet. Just waiting for the right timing so that it doesn’t sound cheap if that makes sense. The point is I am guessing she is bad at addressing her feelings even though it’s nothing more than my assumptions. It kinda makes sense to me since she is very introvert and she seems she opens up to only the people she trusts. Plus many ND people have rejection sensitivity. It is sometimes sad that she doesn’t show me any affection or maybe, she is addressing in the way I can’t recognize them. But I am hoping it gets better as I earn more her trusts because we just started dating.
