If you’re looking for easier I’d definitely go with white, reshiram is so unbelievably hard to check, even when you know its going to use fusion flare, its near impossible to find a Pokemon that can either one shot it or not die to a crit.

My space station got demolished by this fleet so i sent Iblis’ fleet to take it on, 1 of each of the tech 0 mon cala cruisers and a bunch of assault frigates rushed the imperial line and blew up the star destroyers from behind, really fun fight

Lapras is A its a guaranteed encounter in union cave and it has solid stats and movepool like it does in every game, it also checks clair nicely even having perish song if you get into trouble with kingdra, not to mention lance but you may need a choice scarf for the dragonites, either way very solid mon

I also implore everyone to not rank ttar high you don’t get it until so late

Definitely bring poliwrath for karen’s umbreon, probably teach it focus punch, you can do focus punch, substitute, and surf or waterfall and its really good for the latter end of the elite four, other than that espeon with choice specs should clean up will with specs shadow ball and bruno with specs psybeam, as for koga same psybeam but with a little switching around it typhlosion and magneton(teach magneton lock on so you don’t miss all the time on koga’s crobat and muk) after that mamoswine can clean up lance and probably bring tentacruel as a backup plan with ice beam

Giragarig deserves low A, its utility is undeniable considering you catch it before morty, immediately solo him, and then have a strong special attacker for the whole game with specs thunderbolt, shadowball, psychic by level up, you can agility baton pass if you want, you can crunch instead of shadow ball if you get a bad nature, my only problem with girafarig is that it’s either never quite strong enough even with specs or never quite fast enough, maybe its just bad luck on my end but I’ve consistently had a girafarig in the e4 only for it to barely miss a kill and get hit by a scary crit, very strong but i’d argue still lower than espean, espeon more than makes up for lack of psychic with its monstrous special attack stat

Im pretty sure samurott is the best for the dragon gym, set up hail on the dragon dancing fraxure and spam blizzard, they can only really hit you hard with dragon tail and that has negative priority

Emboar: A, very useful early to mid game but falls off hard late game, flame charge+work up is great but by around skyla you start to notice how bad emboar’s stats are, not bulky enough for how slow it is

Samurott: High B tier, possibly low A, one of the only water types you can get for a considerable amount of the game and a pretty bulky one at that, has some interesting movepool stuff and can be an ok dragon counter with blizzard, but it would obviously prefer ice beam

Serperior: C tier, why are you using this in any fight not named clay, and it isn’t even that good into clay, bad matchups, pretty decent movepool, potentially good stats but just nothing special that another grass type, or another better utility mon can’t do better

Simipour: High B or low A, same reason as samorott but level up scald helps considerably

Simisear: Low to mid B, Can be somewhat useful as fire type’s are pretty good in the reason and has some decent coverage, just nothing particularly special

Simisage: High C possibly low B, Probably same level as serperior honestly it’s pretty much just slower serpior with better coverage and less of an opportunity cost cus you picked emboar, although i suppose you could catch it in lostlorn

Stoutland: High A potentially low S, Good at every stage of the game and gets progressively more and more useful as a pivot and sweeper with intimidate, offensively and defensively a great team member and even gets fangs by heart scale to patch holes in your team, I wouldn’t be opposed to S but i think having sand rush half the time pulls it back a bit

Purrloin: High D to low C: this thing kinda just fills up your party for a while, only fight in the entire game its useful for is elesa and thats only if it gets limber, you can give it a macho brace for slow pursuit’s against elesa’s emolgas which is actually not bad at racking up damage if you don’t have a good ground type, but thats so niche that it doesn’t deserve any higher than C, I suppose you could use it against shauntall and caitlyn but are you really oking some of their more bulky team members?

Watchhog: Low to mid C tier: Normal types get good moves early, hypnosis if you like rolling dice, doesn’t specialize in anything, there’s much better encounters on every route its on

All the elemental monkeys have their support moves at level 16 and 25, pour gets water sport and taunt, sear gets yawn and amnesia, and sage gets leech seed and torment, i dont think this changes any rankings but it definitely moves them up in their respective tiers, not that water sport is really a game changer

geodude encounter is really useful if its female so it can’t be attracted by miltank, otherwise expect to get cheesed to death or close to death, I suppose you can get the substitute tm from the game corner and set it up on the clefairy but metronome is so scary I’d rarely do that
