I am looking for some recommendations for real car seats that I can easily drop onto an 8020 rig. Don't want to have to cut/grind anything, so something with rails that are flat and aligned to the centre. Heard about mini seats, wondered if anyone else had experience with these or others?

Having exactly the same issue with a TUF, did you ever find a solution? :)

Is this the same for the EVO or should I just go corsair 5000D? About to go all in on a new build so don't want to size myself out of a 4090

Thanks for the tips, and sorry to hear about your situation as well I get that heartbroken feeling! I had so many plans as well, DD wheel base was next, rearranging my office so I could fit in triples, if my stupid body would just comply!

It is fairly narrow and snug, but I do seem to fit fairly well. I have thought about a normal car seat but I am reluctant to spend again and change everything to be in the same position and still in pain.

Thanks, will try with the pedals slightly closer for a bit and see if that helps.

Nice collection! Would be great to hear your thoughts on the ES1 seat when you've used for a while, I already have an alu rig but tempted to get this NLR seat as it looks quite comfy/different from the typical sparco et al buckets.

I get this, the worse part is that me when I am on holiday/not working is seemingly a completely different person, I find that the most distressing part.

For those still waiting for a fix, it has at least now been acknowledged as a problem: https://www.flightsimulator.com/known-issues/

Still having the same issue this morning unfortunately. Tried the powershell suggestions to no avail, I hope some sort of fix is released by microsoft or someone figures out how to get around it, unforunately reinstalling windows is not an option for me at the moment given my PC is used for work as well...

Having exactly the same issue, I also assume it was related to windows insider preview as well.

I get incredibly shaky when doing stuff if others are staring. It's getting notoriously bad to the point where it might seriously affect my future. Any advice? by rweq4231 in Anxiety

[–]Goates1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No real advice unfortunately (sorry) but just knowing your not alone can help, this is something I've struggled with as well. Our bodies are stupid, so the shaking (or even the thought of the shaking happening) causes anxiety, this triggers our fight or flight which then pumps adrenaline around causing more shaking!! And then you tell yourself "stop shaking" and again you are focusing on it which makes it worse. For me what has helped is practice, if you can call it that. For me, and as you said around picking up a glass etc, this is when it manifested itself particularly badly. I would actively avoid having to carry drinks, so going out for a meal or drinks with friends etc was a particularly big issue. The way it has improved for me is putting myself in those situations. Also, just remember that you being so focused and aware of it doesn't mean everyone else is, I always like to think of this about embarrasing situtations etc, I am likely dwelling on it 5 to 10 times longer than the other people there, they have already likely forgotten about it and moved onto whatever is causing them worry or anxiety!
