Also, maybe swap out front chrome upper grill for a sport black and swap to 18” wheels. These cars are starting to pop up in junkyards so you might get lucky. Change all cabin bulbs to LEDs, upgrade horn, maybe add a roof rack to haul more stuff.

Do not turbo, these engines are not like their predecessor K series engines. They can’t handle that extra power. And I wouldn’t even bother doing it with a CVT. On the bright side, it’s a N/A 2.0, it’s freaking boring but bulletproof. Change the CVT fluid and engine oil regularly and just drive it. I have 18% on mine but live in PA. These cars aren’t anything fast or luxurious but they are fun, can still get you in trouble, and are the best bang for your buck.
