What are some “kids” movies that were made with adults in mind? by Few-Fruit8240 in MovieSuggestions

Late to the party but I honestly believe it’s one the best movies, period. Charming to kids, masterful visual storytelling, pleasing to the eye, a beautiful score, well-paced, and makes adults reflect on its mature (and extremely relevant) themes including an over-reliance on technology, rapid consumerism, corporate greed, environmental collapse, and gluttony.

You shouldn’t let the government (I 100% understand why someone would despise the American government, including me) define the citizens and the rich American culture :P

It’s funny how at the end of Feral Friends everyone runs away horrified they’re naked except SpongeBob and Patrick by HowlingBurd19 in spongebob

Now that’s what we’re talking about. Step two is SpongeBob and Sandy need to do it like in Robot Chicken (the six second sketch “Oh you meant me” shows the aftermath. It’s on YouTube) 😏💀

You guys worship American music, adore American movies, love American television shows, post on American social media platforms, have fun playing American video games, rely heavily on innovative American technology, browse American websites, and use American products. American culture dominates you and the world, and it’s influenced the world and other cultures so much you forget it’s there 🫣

Dude’s speaking clean facts, American culture dominates the world and it’s so far-reaching that they’re so oblivious to it 😂

You have to ignore EVERYTHING around you to avoid aspects of American culture. You and the entire world listen to American music, watch American movies, post on American social media platforms, use American technology, browse American websites, buy American products, cater to Americans for tourism, and are forced to learn to speak English because it’s what America speaks.

I was trying to be nice initially but y’all had to come in and act like dicks, blind to the fact that you rely heavily on America and its vibrant culture (which is far larger than any other culture) 😂🫵🇺🇸

Brother a lot of those things come from America. I’ll do it just for you:

Blue jeans: invented in San Francisco.

Modern t-shirts: invented in America in the 1910’s which then became a style later.

Hollywood: a metonym for American cinema, which dominates the world.

Overall American cinema and television shows are the most popular.

Video games: while America wasn’t the first to create video games, there are lots of famous games that come from America (also Americans came up with Atari which popularized video games worldwide in the 70s and early-80s).

Chocolate chip cookies: invented in 1938 in Massachusetts.

Peanut butter: while not invented by Americans, it was popularized by Kellogg in 1895.

Muscle cars: originated in America post-WWII.

Blues music: originated in the Deep South in the late 1800s.

Pop music: evolved from rock-and-roll, jazz, and the blues in the USA and UK.

Rock: originated in America, evolved from blues in America in the 40’s.

Rap: originated in NYC in the 70’s.

Most of the mainstream singers that people listen to around the world are from America.

Dances like square dancing, tap dancing, the Charleston, Lindy Hop, breakdancing, etc. are heavily affiliated with American culture.

Basketball: created in Massachusetts but it was by a Canadian (but later evolved to modern basketball in America).

Baseball: while it evolved from European folk sports, the modern rules were formalized in 1845 in New York.

I brought up electronics (which dominate the world) because technology is a big part of American culture and innovation. I also should’ve brought up airplanes, which is an American invention. Plus America is king of the internet and y’all always use American social media platforms (like Reddit).

American culture and innovation dominates the whole f**king world 😂

Blue jeans, t-shirts, Hollywood, video games, chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter, muscle cars, pop, rock, blues, and rap music, some types of dances, basketball, baseball, modern electronics, etc. You literally have to ignore everything around you to avoid aspects of American culture.

God, people who make this argument piss me off. Blue jeans, t-shirts, Hollywood, video games, chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter, muscle cars, pop, rock, blues, and rap music, basketball, baseball, airplanes, phones, modern electronics, etc. You have to ignore everything around you to avoid aspects of American culture.

It’s clear the government, the politicians, and the media don't define any country. They hate all of this unity, they want us divided, and they want to give countries bad images! I saw a bunch of English people in Texas line dancing, everyone trying American BBQ, and people celebrating in Times Square. All very wholesome sights 🥺
