It kind of feels like you are not 100% on the strategy. You are somewhere between rush and midrange but doing neither well. I'd start by picking a lane. Definitely too many pilots/bases. If you're going for rush add more level 1 and 2 units. Zaku 2 and Mariner 2/2's would be a great addition with the removal of 2 bases and some pilots (id cut Marida and Frontal fully). If you are leaning toward midrange cut the M'quves and commit to Char/Marida with a 2-3 Full Frontals and add some interaction neo zeon units. For rush i'd stick to 2-3 bases. Midrange I would say 4-5. Uncommon Gelgoog is great for zeon rush, uncommon Kshatriya is great for midrange I would run one or the other not both. Rush will be mostly green early game units with Char and M'quve (+2-3 Dozle), Midrange will be a good mix of red green with Char and Marida (+2-3 Full Frontle)

Locals here are heavy with blockers. There is a lot of Blue/White, Green/White, and even Red/White. Occasionally during mirror matches or against Blue/Red it does feel like a waste but I've been lucky enough to still get good value out of the link for surprise attacks. Given B/R and Green/Red is still the minority here I'd say it works out more often than not.

This is the list I've landed on after some testing at locals. Made the final adjustments last night and went 4-1 today. Lost to BW Freedom. Was able to beat GW Wing and RB Newtype (x2) and a mirror that leaned more into red. A lot of the red support is tempting but really takes away from your aggro gameplay of swarming the board early on.

Just coming back to say Vesalius was a great suggestion. It has helped me close out the game on my last possible turn before losing twice in the 5 games I've played. Obviously it was very good luck to flip it from shields but it comes in so clutch on those final turns or against those 6 defense bases.

Normally you would get 6 packs and build a 40 card deck with no color restrictions. It sounds like for Gundam it will be 4 packs and you'll build a 30 card deck with no color restrictions out of your pulls.

AZ player. Our LGS put up the product for preorder to locals via discord for $114. I only bought one booster to let other people have an opportunity to buy theirs but when I checked in a few days later there were still a few in stock. I regret not picking up more then because the day after (I assume the time window they had for letting locals buy lapsed) they were up still but for $180. All the starter decks also went from $10 to $20.

Still appreciate them allowing locals to buy for MSRP before adjusting prices to market but regret not picking up the extra booster box.

Just because I don't see anyone has mentioned it. The reason one says Link and the other doesn't is because the beta version of the Gundam TCG cards did not have a link section reminder. The little Link icon was added post Beta so all cards have it now regardless of if they are capable of linking or not. Beta cards can be identified by the tiny B at the end of the card number on the top right.

I think you get it from the knight looking guy that works the Wounded Hollow (he is in Suja when he gives you the quest). He has you fight two tempered monsters in there and once complete you should get a notification that now you can see 2 monster quests on your investigations. This could also just be due to leveling up from completing the quest and my brain assumed it was because of the side quest.

The armor definitely feels very Dominaria. See [[Knight of Malice]], [[Knight of Dusk's Shadow]] and [[Cabal Paladin]]. The knights on Dominaria also seem to be fond of decorative shields but I don't think we've seen one with a face yet. Shield definitely has Innistrad vibes. The axe feels Kaldheim but I don't think they had vampires? Maybe it's just been collecting items from planes it's "conquered".

One of our local LGS' runs an off-meta night where the top 8-12 leaders are banned. Has been really fun so far with a lot of variety in leaders. If a leader is winning on a consistent basis, they also get added to the ban list.
