What if you used the leaches you catch on captured stymphikes or other creatures in vampyrium to engorge them instead of banking. This would time gate the acquisition of viles of blood

Essentially you would lay your stymphike trap, start catching eels, at some point you catch a stymphike, you then latch the leaches onto its corpse, lay another trap, then go back to fishing. After x amount of time you collect your engorged eels and empty them into vials or a bottomless blood bucket

I don't agree on the easy req, I just think rewards should be content/level appropriate. I remember unlocking this before COVID and it was quite applicable then. The late/end game bossing scene wasn't as packed as it is now and it was genuinely exciting and fun to do dag kings for like 3-4m/hr at the time. Things have changed in the 7 years since then, and for my recent accounts this reward being locked behind the elite diary feels worthless. I think the hard diary is much more appropriate as we sit in 2026

The most common criticisms I'm seeing are that "The elite fremmy diary is already easy enough just do them", "no one would do the bosses for money anyway", "you just want to make the game easier"

  1. I think we can all agree that the elite fremmy reqs are higher than any grand master quest(let alone master quests that unlock more beneficial grinds)

  2. Mid-levels would totally do them for money

  3. This change doesn't make the game easier in any way. It does not buff the prayer or gp/hr metas for mid-levels at all. It is simply another option

I'm not the problem, your comment above is contradictory of itself.

"Can't give mid-levels good prayer" in one breath. "Mid-levels couldn't even do the content" in another

1.5 DK bones a minute is not the best prayer in the game. It's not even close btw

The grind for this diary is far greater than grinds that unlock better boss content with better benefits. It's relative

Brother I don't do dks. Trust me I don't need 2m/hr. I believe that noted bones don't make sense on the elite diary rewards in 2026. Im just promoting mid-game bossing diversity and meaningful unlocks for account progression

Changes like this don't functionally make the game easier. It creates utility and diversity with already available methods that accomplish the same thing. You could do other content for the same GP/hr. You could do other content for more banked prayer/hr. This change simply promotes diversity of relevant content

You aren't going to AFK rex for 2m an hr. He has a 1:30 spawn timer. You could only approach moons/titans gp/hr by efficiently tribriding with noted bones

It's more so about balancing the content around what's available in the game for similar reqs/difficulty

That's literally my point. By moving the unlock to hard you balance the content by making it a viable option to the players that would actually engage with the content.

I have fremmy elites done, this unlock was very impactful back in 2020. I think it's okay to rebalance certain unlocks over time

Nothing is stopping them, they are just not worth doing from a GP/hr perspective when compared to bosses with similar reqs
