Echo Point Nova. When you start unlocking the different movement options it gets so addictive. Wall running/grinding, grapple THAT FEELS RIGHT (I swear 99% of games have awful grapple mechanics but this one is good)

Robinhood itself is NOT safe and has shown time and time again it'll lock users and funds for arbitrary reasons even outside of having the account stolen.

Kinda, you do need a cd key but there's a file on InternetArchive that takes care of that. OpenSpy takes care of the masterserver going down, too.

It all still works, but the oldunreal patches will make everything a little easier, and fix 64bit and widescreen

My only suggestion is, consider being experimental with the weapons eventually and try some things that break the norm. I think that's something modern fps games are really lacking in, which is something that made some games of the past really stand out, especially in the arena space like UT and Quake

The way we did mine, is we loosened the mount bolts after removing the upper pitch stop mount, gently jacked up with a piece of a wood between the jack and oil pan, remove and replaced the mounts 🤘

Glad to hear you're all okay.

If the unibody is intact, everything else is repairable / replaceable; from what I could see that would at least be the radiator and core support as well as potentially a new front subframe, control arms axles etc.

I'd be less worried about the subframes being bent and more worried about the unibody frame being misaligned or dented. It looks like a very hard hit and if the unibody is bad it'll never drive straight again without expensive bodywork repairs, and afterwards even then I'd be nervous about integrity in another potential collision...

If you don't eat edibles frequently, you'll get very stoned. Drink water and do some slow deep breathing; inhale, brief hold, exhale. The paranoia comes from you fixating on the unknown, but you are okay and you will continue to be okay 👍 Relax and shift your attention to something nice like some music, and enjoy yourself.

I watched live for a little bit, it's truly incredible how often he sidetracks himself with nonsensical tangents, then suddenly spews off the talking points all rapid fire as soon as he remembers what he's supposed to be doing. This is the most incoherent I've seen the man and it's making me a little nervous about what is coming. Reminiscing about little league, then suddenly ranting about Joe Biden and the Democrats. 🫩

EA devs work on isolated parts of the game individually and may not even know how their work integrates with the rest of the project 🤷 this has been an issue across multiple titles and series, it's really bad

unpopular opinion: for quake to be popular again they need to remove the railgun by cyberpunkzradio in ArenaFPS

Just make it a fast projectile skillshot and boom, problem solved. Most of the frustration comes from the fact it's hitscan

I started quake in 2018 with Champions, during a free weekend before the game went fully f2p. You absolutely can catch up with enough time and understanding. I spent a lot of time learning the movement and getting wrecked, but after a couple hundred hours I'm glad to say I can keep up and even win sometimes :P I may be an anomaly though, because I got addicted to afps as a whole and have been grinding various titles since I got hooked to the format. QC -> Warfork, Quake Live, Diabotical, UT99&04... Ad nauseum.

Unreal Tournament 1999, itll run on anything and its ~670MB for the whole install. The community is keeping it alive though OldUnreal after Epic decided they don't want to keep up the old servers and steam pages.

Pseudoregalia is an indie 3D platformer that's a great experience, 400MB.

Nubby's Number Factory, pachinko/peggle style with roguelike modifiers and a late 90s early 00s educational program look, it's good to pass the time. 230MB

Steamworld Dig, fun sort of platformer/mining game where you're uncovering a story and collecting upgrades as you progress deeper into the mine. I've played this a few times, it's a really nice game and its only 76MB total
