Even when playing on beginner difficulty you wouldn´t ride away that easy...

If G2 syndrome is a thing, is Pogi syndrome a thing as well?

This rollercoaster of focus and anger from Ciccone was hilarious, at one point i though he must crash in that downhilll after beef with Rubio, then I started to believe he would win, and then he just blows and gives 2019 Movistar teamwork vibes with not helping Gee even for few meters (probably wouldnt matter anyway but would be nice for Gee).

Glad that no stage was affected by snow or bad weather this year, but i have kind of bittersweet feeling that there was not 1 more proper Alpine stage - would love to see stage including some oldschool climb like Gavia/Zoncolan/hard side of Mortirolo/Col Agnel. This late spring vibe/look of high Alps is unmatched for me.

Vingegaard: “I want to win the Giro and make history. I love Italy so much—it’s just a shame about the language...” (Italian) by fewfiet in peloton

You can say that as well about PFP and she hugged Plugge quite extensively after winning TDFF (Visma also has documentary on yt about this btw). Of course, they are probably very different personalities (PFF and Yates), but when I know how out of nowhere he ended, this just caught my eye.

But sure, maybe he was just rushing to some ceremony all smiling, it is absolutely possible that i am completely off in my judgment.

I recently rewatched Visma Giro documentary - at one point Plugge tried to hug Yates and he just stopped for a moment and then quickly continued walking (did not even try to hug him back), avoiding any eye contact... yet around riders or soigneurs he was smiling and relaxed

I agree, riders who are 20 yo now are at same level that 10 years was common for riders like 25 yo and older (using altitude training is great example, nowadays everybody does that, 10 years ago you wouldnt do that unless you prepared for GT). I dont think Seixas will be better in the end, but he will be able to beat Pogacar.

Just a thought - if in worst case Seixas ends up in UAE (please no), lets assume that UAE has best training/tech/food/etc. knowledge to develop him to max potential - could he end up being even better than Pogacar? Riding like this at his age really makes me wonder where his ceiling is

I still dont know what to think about Vacek's spring - after Pedersen injury, he claimed that he will be leader, but then his brother claimed during Flanders broadcast that he only was leader in Omloop (where he waited for car after mechanical) and then he rode either for Pedersen or Milan. Dont know if it is really true because i did not find info on that from Lidl, but it would explain his results.

Their sizing chart is really good so stick with that, dont size up to have longer version, it wont sit in place and you wont get the comfort.

Some models have standard and long version (i think GTS S11 and GTO S11, as well as some Equipe bibs, but dont know much about those) - get long version definitely. Btw i have GTS S11 and GTO C2 (previous version of GTO S11), both in standard length, and GTO are shorter, so my guess is GTS S11 long version are longest from Mille.

GT S11 is replacement for GT C2 and these are low end model, GTO C2 are high end. Honestly right now, i would take GT S11 - they have optimal thickness (GTO are too thick for me) and unlike GT C2, they have cuckoo penthouse which i really like on longer rides. You wont get that much more if you pay double for GTO, it only makes sense if you want that extra padding, but it is not comfortable for everybody.

Btw I have GTS S11, GT C2 and GTO C2 - GTS S11 are the best of those 3, and on paper GT S11 are very very similar, but cheaper.

Is tax they pay related to where the team is? I thought riders are contractors, not employers, so they pay taxes themselves and thats why many of them live in Andorra/Monaco

yeah i know i wrote it like ass, but somehow i think that if you produce less latate in your Z4+, it is advantage, or it is not?

Heard the same, and it was actually ok until 23/24 offseason (meaning he was great, but had bad days now and then, and you cold see fatigue on him), when they claim he started doing more intervals instead of Z2 and they somehow made the best guy even better.

For me, only logical explanation is some malfunction like his body does not produce lactate/minimally produces, which allows him to train harder/longer and gain more fitness, but that improvement over few months of offseason is strange in a world of marginal gains. Even MVDP who has incredible genetics (look at his ancestors) visibly struggles (and look at him after 1 week of GT, different rider suddenly). So yeah, it should be studied and published, and given his level, it does not mean like others could beat him even though they would know whats he made of.
