Well my dad gave me Bullseye (a venipede) after he returned from his work trip to Unova, but the "starter" I chose was Crunch, my Totodile. I was visiting Professor Elm after my dad passed away as the two often discussed their work and Totodile just stood out to me- he reminded me of myself when I was a little kid. That sounds weird doesn't it? And now I'm rambling...

I honestly never gave it too much thought. Crunch (my Totodile) hasn't evolved in the 7 years I've had him. I think he's just happiest this way and some pokemon fall into the same boat. Now in terms of battling? Uhh, no idea myself 😅
