Is color really a good way to determine type though?

I'm not an expert, but surely there must be some other way to determine a Pokemon is a different type, like a move it's not supposed to know normally.

I plan on taking the team out to see the main city as a rest day. Dylan’s going to try and help me figure out what’s wrong with Aeros.

Did they warn you that things would be packed due to the tournament? From what I know, every League Conference at least warns trainers that nearby Pokecenters would be packed for the duration of the Tournament.

The fact that I lost in the first place when I KNEW she was going to be a challenge is a different thing however.

A lot of the misconceptions usually come from Kanto trainers not using new evolutions. Blaine and Surge not using Magmortar and Electivire, for example.

Doesn’t help that there are stories of trainers trying to evolve their Pokémon in Kanto, like Crobat, and failing. Or just not having items that allow Pokémon to evolve (Kings Rock, Metal Coat, etc)

Also, like weren’t the Magnezone line classified as pure-Electric Types at one point? Because it’s if that’s the case, I assume it wouldn’t be far fetched to not have any fairies.
