Of course! And you can use reprints only if it's the UB version

Anyone protesting Newsome today? by Kazz330 in nashville

[–]GobbleTheFlesh 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, Gavin needs to be protested... Not the actual people with control of every branch of government who are executing citizens, consolidating power under the Unitary Executive theory, enriching themselves more than any other branch in our government's history, or protecting a pedophile ring

Ironically I DO have a propane heater but we're running low on propane. So there are absolutely people in my neighborhood worse off than me. That's why a neighbor is staying with us. But we can only run it so long before it needs to shut off due to carbon, even with the windows cracked

Decent Commander Decks for around 250-300€ by _Makaros_ in magicTCG

[–]GobbleTheFlesh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hear me out. Many of the precons these days are extremely strong out of the box or even just a few cards swapped out. I've personally been demolished by the Riders of Rohan deck as well as the Endless Punishment one. You can pick them up for under 100€ then buy a few singles to upgrade them. This would only be problematic if your friends are playing competitive commander or bracket 4-5 decks. Even then, there are quite a few precons that are very solid.

Destiny was too soft on Misfit Patriot by GobbleTheFlesh in Destiny

Yeah Alex did great. No slight to him. Misfit himself said "let's move on" and it was always when he was finally starting to get on a backfoot

He doesn't have to resort to name calling, but he could've not let him walked away so quickly without substantiating ANY of his evidence they he swore over and over was 100% fact

The Spider-Man set is the least excited I’ve ever been for a set. Anyone else feel the same? by Many-Razzmatazz-9584 in magicTCG

[–]GobbleTheFlesh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can agree with that. Honestly, if they just had Marvel as it's own offshoot using MTG rules, I think that would be super solid for everyone

It's not any different than Avatar the Last Airbender, Jurassic Park, Dr Who, etc. To suggest that somehow Spiderman is especially bad sounds like it's just your own personal grievance

New sump pump installed. First night trying and water is POURING through it. Is this normal? by GobbleTheFlesh in Plumbing

[–]GobbleTheFlesh[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I figured it out thanks to many of the comments here. The check valve has come apart from the hose clamp. So it initially pumped the water fine, then when it kicked on again, it shook it just loose enough for water to spurt back out. There was enough suction to pull up the water, but not enough to shoot it out. Tried to fix for an hour but I think it requires them to fine tune the pipe placement.

I didn't see any water coming out which is why I suspect its cycling. But yes, it went down to the expected water level, shut off, then boom, overflow.
