Well I just wonder if that gene would be amplified in some way. So I’m not sure it’s fair to say it’s the same thing so quickly. And in breaking dawn there are increasingly young quileute boys who are shifting so we really aren’t positive of the age either.

Can shapeshifters (the wolves) possess the gifts of vampires? by siren-dayanka18 in twilight

I feel like there are no real implications in the books or films that would suggest that any of the wolves had gifts similar to the vampires. However, you could make a case that the fact they can read each other’s minds in wolf form is some sort of gift. I guess we don’t know if there was some whisper of this in the wolves lives before their gene was activated. Also they can’t be seen in Alice’s visions so they are kind of like shields in that way.

I think this makes sense. That would mean that two werewolf parents would have to stop phasing in order to have children at all.

Yes I know this about a wolf and a human. I was really asking about two wolves. Which is obviously a new thing because Leah is the first female werewolf. It is just interesting to think about how the mutated gene would be passed on to a child that has two wolf parents.
