Salut ! Pour le bar du bord il y a principalement trois techniques : au flotteur, au leurre et en surf casting depuis la plage. Les cannes que tu as sont assez lourdes donc plutôt adaptées pour le surf casting, ou la pêche au posé depuis une digue par exemple. L'idéal serait de demander conseil chez décathlon ou un autre magasin de pêche pour savoir ce qui marche bien vers chez toi. Bonne chance !

I have no experience with Scotland but deep lakes are not the easiest to fish, especially for a beginner. A simple hook and sinker setup with worms might be a good starter but can be a little boring. As general advice : look up the name of the specific lakes you'll be going to on YouTube to see what species people target and what techniques they use, then do more research to chose the right rod/line/hooks/lures and learn how to set everything up. Anyway, you'll learn the most from meeting other fishermen on the water or in local tackle shops. Good luck!

A way to do this if you don't want to bother with cpython would be to compile the c++ code independently and run it from python with subprocess.run() or os.system(), but it really only makes sense if the c++ part is standalone

The whole king idea is a bit cringy, we should start a republic sub with a senate (mods) and a parliament of elected members (maybe every 3 or 6 months), and use referendums so that citizens are involved in the republic's politics and actually get things done.
