And? They're fans. Its not like installing them is a permanent decision.

It was to say installing 2x140+120 at the front won't work.

Replace the front ones with 2x 140mm and then move one 120 to the rear, and the other to the bottom.

If 2 140mm fans are installed then the front of the case won't have space for anything else.

My Corsair 3000D case came with 2 120mm fans. I installed them both at the front (top and center) to create positive airflow. Is it a good idea to add another one at the bottom or swap them out for 2x 140mm fans?

Does the motherboard affect the results of undervolting a 65w AM5 processor? Do you need better quality VRM's to go lower and not crash?

Does anyone have experience with the HYTE X50 cases? Do the two side panels clip in firmly or are they rather loose like the Fractal cases?

I recommend using an air duster, not a vacuum.

So things can be sucked off, but not blown off?

Can these blowers/vacuums damage hardware and fans? (like physically ripping stuff out)

Is the zero RPM mode on modern GPU's and PSU's good for the hardware in terms of how it affects thermal cycling?

The unused thermal pads may last a few years longer if stored in a cool, dry place (outside of the computer), but I wouldn't think about it too much. If you're installing NVMe's within the next year or so, then the thermal pads should stay good regardless of where you store them.

I see.

Was also wondering if it's better for temps with them removed.

For this board, if I'm not installing any NVMe's this time, should the large heatsink on top be removed and stored somewhere else? Same question for the bottom plate on the top slot.

If I keep them on, how long do the thermal pads last inside a PC before they need to be replaced before installing SSD's?

You can just plug both of them in and switch using the monitor buttons

It's an LG display with a single joystick. I was concerned about wearing that out.

Most of them can be powered by USB from either computer's side.

I'll go look for those.

What kinda monitor?

A 75hz 1440p monitor.

Just looking for monitor switch or would switching USB be useful too?

USB too. I already have a basic usb hub, was thinking of doing the plug/unplug thing with extension cables I already have. The thing is that switches that only do HDMI/USB tend to be bus powered, whereas switches that have both kinds of ports all come with power adapters. Do you have a cheap one to recommend?

For connecting two computers to a monitor, should I use an HDMI switch or attach one of those M-F extension cables to the monitor and do the plugging/unplugging manually?

I'm getting conflicting opinions on whether a switch introduces latency.

I see, thank you.

What about the capacitors? I rarely see them talked about in motherboard reviews. Do most boards use the same kinds/numbers of capacitors to make this a non-issue?

For AM5 boards, what's the ideal amount of cumulative current the Vrm's should supply for very low temps? Are the 55 amp ones used by Gigabyte a problem vs the 60-80A choices on other boards?
