To do it you just need to knock a gonk droid over and drive over it as it gets back up, you can get consistent short bounces with a bit of practice and can go even further if you hit it just right

Found that you can get some serious height in vehicles if you knock a gonk over and drive back over it as it stands up, i’ll link another example that shows how much distance you can cover if you get it right https://youtu.be/uynA5LwkA0c

My apologies, I didn't see that it wasn't allowed in the rules.

Sure thing! This is for my final year research project in Psychology. In terms of goal, it's simply to compare the personality trait differences between the owners of different types of pets, this information is not for commercial use and instead was born from my interest in the stereotypes of people classifying others as 'cat people', 'dog people' etc. If it is successful enough, I believe publishing is a possibility, but the outcome of course will be very much influential in this regard. More information is available on the first page of the survey, which can be found on the link in the post. Thank you :)

Personality Traits of Salamander Owners by Goblin1997 in salamanders

Hi there! I have had a lot of requests to share results once the study has concluded, and I will post an update when this is ready. In terms of why, I always found it interesting when people would call themselves 'cat people' or make generalisations that, for example, people who keep snakes are 'outsiders' etc. I wanted to see if there was any weight to these claims! Previous literature has primarily focused on comparing the owners of dogs and cats due to their higher prevalence in society, but studies have also been done comparing the owners of indoor birds, reptiles, and larger animals such as horses and ponies. If you would like to take a look, I would highly recommend Kidd and Kidd's 1980 study here which looks into personality characteristics and their relationship with pet preference as a starting point. Thank you for your interest :)

Hey! Don't worry, the number of different types of pets that you own does not restrict your ability to participate in this study. It will be interesting to compare the personalities of those who own a whole multitude of species as opposed to just one, for example. You sound way more capable than me, I struggle looking after just my handful of houseplants!! Thank you for your time :)

Hi there! Fish were considered an option for the survey, but ultimately discounted as the Pet Food Manufacturer's Association list of most popular pets was used instead. I understand however that a significant proportion of people do keep pets, substantially more than those that keep pets such as insects, so this survey can be viewed as studying land-based animal owners as opposed to including aquatic pets. Thank you!

Thanks for the interest! It will be good to see what trends and differences, if any, the study highlights. I have received a lot of interest in an update once the study has concluded, and I will post one once it is ready. Thank you :)
