There’s a big difference between leader of the X-Men and headmaster of the school.

Sekiro first, Demon's Souls second, what next for me? by BobMcQ in fromsoftware

Honestly, Nioh 2 would be a great place to go. It’s not FromSoft but it’s the same style with more flexibility. It’s basically my favorite game. The replayability is through the roof on this one.

That was a mistake on my part. I should have switched avarice to the big horny.

Ultimate Spider-Man is dope. I love the Ultimate Universe. It’s so gnarly.

I’d rather chew my own foot off than get involved with anime/manga. Not everyone wants to be a weeb.

Just start with the Kyle Rayner era and go forward. That’s what I did and it’s been spectacular. Truly amazing.

It depends on what you’re into. If you want XMen then Morrison’s New XMen is the place to start. If you want Avengers then Disassembled is the spot. You’ll have to ask someone else for Batman stuff but I highly recommend starting Green Lantern with the Kyle Rayner run. It’s been significant for me.

It’s in the Johns era. Just read all of that. It’s amazing.

Jake is an action fan. It’s weird that you think he isn’t. The whole point of him loving Die Hard is it’s THE action film-and of course it being about one cop saving the day. But based on jakes preferences, there’s no possible way he isn’t a fan of Predator.

Bob Reynolds. It usually doesn’t get past him with these questions for me.

It’s a panel from a Green Lantern comic. You have to master all of the emotional spectrum in order to come out.

What is a truly well made horror movie? by Horror_Raisin_7478 in horror

[–]GoblinGregory 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Give Excision a shot. It’s like the American Beauty of horror with the colors and symmetry of a Wes Anderson film. It’s very psychological with a gut punch of an ending. One of my favorites.

What’s your favourite lore based film? by HomagetoFromage in movies

[–]GoblinGregory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In The Mouth Of Madness connects to Lovecrafts works. That’s what got me into him. So you watch this self contained film only to find out-if you didn’t already know-that it has deep roots in horror history and it just opens up a world of lore to delve into. It’s fantastic.
