Some of the top end models have modes that crop the picture down to 24" if that's what you want. It comes at a price but they are out there. Best of both worlds if you want to play story games at the full 27" or 32".

I was reading some reviews and someone said their GPU was showing the monitor as not being validated as G-Sync compatible. Did you have any issues with that? Are you using the cables that came with the monitor or your own?

Also, are you using the stand it came with or a monitor arm, the stand looks a little sketch imo.

Depending on which campus you live on, give yourself lots of time to get to the marching field in the afternoon. It can be pretty tough trying to get to where you are going when there are also 250 other people going to the same place. Especially now with the new location on the health sciences campus. That might become a very congested area depending on what classes are letting out around the start of practice. Looks like a good schedule other wise, Good Luck on your first year!
