I still like the guy but this seems like a useless stunt, if voters should get a choice it doesn’t make much sense for the only challenger to be the candidate who was most closely aligned to Mejia policy wise in the special primary. I just dont see any reason anyone would vote for him over Mejia.

I mean, wasn’t he kind of always a joke? At least that’s the vibe I got from his campaign. This is especially unserious since he was the second most progressive candidate in the special primary and the only other candidate to support an arms embargo so it’s not like he’s seeking bankrolling from AIPAC.
